If you love wearing press on nails with adhesive stickies, then this one is for you!

With 10+ years of experience in the nail industry, two of the most common qualms we’ve come across when it comes to adhesive sticky tabs are:

  1. Removal without the discomfort

  2. Removal without damaging the press ons/your nails

There are many more, but today’s Nail Hack is to cross these two off our list.

What you’ll need:

  • Precision squeeze bottle (you can find these on the “rainforest” website )

  • Wooden stick

  • Dropper to prevent cross contamination

  • 1 part Isopropyl Alcohol (skin safe)

  • 1/2 part Cuticle oil with simple oil ingredients (make sure to always spot test in case you have allergies)

You can check out the video HERE if you’re a visual/audio learner.

Mix both ingredients in your bottle, secure lid tightly and shake well before each use. Remember to never force or pry press ons off your nails whether they’re glued or sticky’d on. If the nails haven’t loosened up quite yet, add a little more of the solution to help speed along the process.

Why do we love this Nail Hack?

Isopropyl Alcohol is often used to safely remove adhesives from surfaces and including the cuticle oil will prevent the drying affects from the alcohol.

This also helps prevent the little bends that occur on the press ons after removal. This way, you can wear your nails time and time again and still maintain its good condition.

The easier, the better. Stay tuned for more Nail Hacks.
