DALGONA KAFFÉ LATTÉ

I’ve never been a coffee person, but a little part of me still sips every now and then out of nostalgia. Kafé aka coffee reminds me of warm sunlit mornings sitting beside my late grandmother on our little patio in Port-au-Prince Haiti.

Eating pain a kafé, taking in the fragrance as she dipped her bread into her steaming tin cup. Those memories, those smells and tastes of our rich Haitian culture still visit me. Kaffé Latté, a tribute to the memorable mundane mornings at Delma 5, no. 11 inspired by the traditional Dalgona.

  • 1 part Instant Coffee

  • 1 part Brown Sugar

3. Top your cup with ice, add milk of choice.
