ICONIC & BOUGIE MULLED WINE

The first time I tasted Mulled Wine was in 2017 at my friend Byron’s birthday link up. I randomly ordered a bevvy off the menu and at first sip, the woman was literally too stunned to speak!

I don’t drink much, but every so often I like to chill out with beer or bouge out with a glass of red wine. The feeling I got was one I wanted to replicate, but make better when I’m home being what?! A home body! Here’s my personal recipe, just in time for the holidays. Hope you love it as much as I do while vibing to my Nail Shop Tea spotify playlist.

What You’ll Need:

  • 2 cups of Red Wine; Pinot noire or Merlot

  • 2 oz of Spiced Rum (or a drop more, wink wink)

  • 2 oz of Pomegranate Syrup

  • 3 TBSP of Brown Sugar

  • Blood Orange Slices

  • 3 Cinnamon Sticks

  • 3 Star Anise

  • 3 Cloves

1. This one’s easy! Add all your ingredients to a pot.

2. Mix well and bring to a low boil/simmer.

3. Immediately bring to low heat, cover your pot and set timer to 10 minutes.

4. Serve very warm and enjoy!
