Born in Brooklyn and raised in Haiti, Gracie J stems from a family of creative women. Art has always played a major role in her life since a young age and became very influential in her work. She lives daily with inspirations from her experiences, surroundings and vibrant culture. Over the course of 13 years, she has skillfully acquired the ability to use a tiny canva to depict an array of stories.

The Editorial Nail was created in 2014 as a platform for the everyday woman to keep up with nail trends relatable to their personal style. Her work attracted the attention of leading industry brands landing her the role of Key Nail Stylist for Claws TNT. Some of her celebrity clients include Karrueche Tran, Dascha Polanco and Dean Norris.

As an NYC native, she tapped into the NYFW scene, keying for Frankie B., Romeo Hunte, Hayley Elsaesser at MILK Studios and recently for Jeffrey Dodd. With experience as a former Beauty Editor, she merges the gap between creative writing and curating chic nail designs for her clients and audience.

Her work has been featured in TNT social media campaigns, OPI advertisements, Dark & Lovely, M.A.C., Essence Magazine beauty spreads and the September issue cover '17.

By working with talented innovators, Gracie J focuses her brand on emerging trends to inspire the beauty of nail art across all demographics while sharing her craft with clients, nail enthusiasts and other professionals.

For Gracie meeting new faces is always "Nails at First Sight".
